At Volunteers for Change Uganda we do believe in activities as a means of keeping ourselves very busy. We therefore keep track of all the activities we manage in our respective communities and projects at large, by advertising them on our Events Calendar shown below. This has always enabled us to move forward amidst all challenges, as we await more success to manifest our history. Our volunteers are always trained, oriented, sensitized and also evaluated.

International Volunteer Day' (IVD)

This precious day is celebrated every December 5th and as Volunteers for Change Uganda, we do organize activities and go out to communities in big numbers to offer a good turn. The spirit of volunteerism in life, has always been the best in someone's life as it builds their self esteem as well as confidence.

On December 5th 2019, the Managing Director for Volunteers for Change Uganda (VOCU), Geoffrey Kaweesa shared an article with The New Vision a local newspaper in Uganda about embracing volunteerism to tackle youth unemployment. Read more about it by clicking on this link my article.
